What is Green Football Weekend?
Sky Sports is reaffirming its support for the second edition of #GreenFootballWeekend, the world’s premier climate-football initiative.
From the 2nd to the 5th of February, clubs will feature in Green Football Weekend, participating in eco-friendly matches to highlight their sustainability initiatives.
This event aims to involve fans in the environmental cause, encouraging clubs to announce more ambitious carbon-reduction commitments while showcasing their efforts towards sustainability.
The campaign, recognized as the largest climate-football movement globally, rallies fans, clubs, leagues, and partners to collectively address climate change.
